Be cautious of leaving your children in closed vehicles in hot... horrible results
During current hot waves that beat Lebanon and the whole area, experts warn
people of leaving children in closed vehicles, particularly in summer.
This is not restricted
to young but also adults of all ages.
Through high temperatures, our bodies lose fluid and salts due to sweating. Thus, it causes an electrochemical imbalance of cells, accelerating heartbeats, high blood pressure, and Hypoxemia. This results in fainting and even choking till death.
According to experts, the
impacts of such incidents do not manifest instantly on child’s health. However,
these incidents may cause psychotic distress related to stress and choking in
locked places.
Additionally, damage to
brain cells may occur, if the temperature increases to the highest levels. Therefore,
every parent and caregiver to children should be aware of all manners along
with young. Neither inattention, forgetting, nor negligence are accepted.

a social campaign conducted in the United Emirates under the slogan “Heed in
them, so you do not lose them.”
Many social media
influencers and volunteers, under medical and Civil Defense monitoring,
participated in this video. They stayed in a closed car for 10 minutes without air
conditioning, noting that the temperature was 40 – 45ºC then it increased by 20
degrees within 10 minutes.
